On September 26, Canada Post announced a shutdown due to national labor actions between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Please be advised that, beginning October 2, 2025, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center will not mail notices to recipient addresses that include the country name "Canada"; these notices will be bypassed. Bypassed recipients are listed within the bypass section of the Certificate of Notice. Courts are encouraged to update addresses that are being sent to Canada to add the country name in the last line of the notice address so that appropriate action is taken (e.g., OTTAWA ON K1A 0B1 CANADA). Additional updates will be provided as information is made available.
